Row Crops a Little Higher Ahead of Export Sales
December corn is up 1 3/4 cents, November soybeans are up 4 1/2 cents and
December KC wheat is down 1 1/4 cents.

Pre-6 a.m. CDT prices, CME Globex: December corn is up 1 3/4 cents, November
soybeans are up 4 1/2 cents and December KC wheat is down 1 1/4 cents.
CME Globex Recap: Early Thursday, Dow Jones futures are trading steady to
lower early in spite of higher trade in Europe. Eurostat and RTTNews.com
reported a 1% increase in European exports in July, resulting in a seasonally
adjusted trade surplus of 13.4 billion euros on the month, up from 11.9 billion
euros in June. Asian markets are lower with the Wall Street Journal reporting
concerns about debt problems at one of China's largest real estate developers.
Later Thursday morning, USDA will release its weekly report of export sales.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average up 236.82 at 34,814.39 and the S&P 500 up 37.65 at 4,480.70 as the
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 1.30%. Early Thursday, September Dow Jones
futures are trading down 28 points. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei
225 index down 0.62% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.34%. European
markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up
0.33%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.50% and spot futures of
France's CAC Index trading up 1.03%. The December euro is down $0.0039 at
$1.1789. The December U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.22 at 92.76. The December
30-year T-bond is down 9/32nds, while December gold is down $10.60 at $1,784.20
and October crude oil is up $0.02 at $72.63. On China's Dalian exchange,
January corn was down 0.7%, November soybeans were up 0.7%, January soybean
meal was down 0.1% and January soybean oil was up 1.4%. September common wheat
on China's Zhengzhou exchange was up 1.9%. November Malaysian palm oil is
trading up 2.3%.
